About The Antique Photo Album
This is a place where you can join me in browsing through history using the metaphor of an old photo album. As you look at people, places, and events that you never knew and never saw, you just might catch a glimpse of something you recognize about yourself or your time. And maybe you’ll be inspired to remember your own stories, to reflect on your own life journey and find the grace and meaning there.
You’ll learn some history! But it will not be history of just big dates, events, and ideas, but history from the perspective of people’s lives. You will read about their struggle and sorrow, but also their endurance, accomplishment, and meaning – lives we can relate to.
A little bit about myself…I am a Christian and write from that perspective. I try to live a faith that is generous and full of love, following the simple and profound words of Jesus, Love God and love your neighbor as yourself.
A little bit more…I have earned a Masters degree in Spiritual Formation and am currently pursuing a second Masters in Church History. Learning history has significantly contributed to my own spiritual formation, and I desire to share that experience with others.
